got in an accident today. it was slow speed, the plastic grille on the car that hit me didn't even break, although there was a perfect imprint of my rear wheel on her hood. it was my fault, technically. i was a block past a light with heavy traffic stopping for a redlight. the first two lanes stopped to let me turn left. she didn't. i got two tickets, one for not having my insurance card, even though i am insured. that one i don't have to pay, i just mail them proof. the other for failure to yield. that one i don't have to pay either, so long as she signs off on an affidavit that my insurance paid for her car. i'll have to pay higher insurance premiums too. a very stressful start to the day. yuck.
