here's a puzzle for you geeks.

when nicole was living here, we set up a router so we could both go online at the same time. i never took it out of the system until today. i unplugged the LAN cable from the router and plugged it directly into the modem. no connection. nobody at COX could figure it out, so now i am running through the router again. any ideas?
