ok. i don´t think i´ll be living on the shores of lago arenal. it is hot and humid. me gusta the highlands mucho mas. it is pretty here, though, and i could probably get used to the heat and humidity. i got a rare view of the volcano sans clouds on the way across the lake. i don´t think i´ll bother paying for a night tour where i likely won´t see anything. instead, i´m going to hike tomorrow to an extinct crater with a lake.
