i've been getting a lot of compliments on my photos at the cafe. it's interesting, i don't feel that they are justified. sure, i took some nice pictures. i took 800 and ended up with a dozen or two good ones. but i didn't build the temples, and i didn't create the lighting. i just recorded it. i have a little skill and a good eye, but it's not the same feeling as being complimented on my paintings. it's closer when someone likes the juxtapositions, because i was actually being creative with them, but it's still not the same.
