hola

am in el progreso, honduras. spent all day yesterday painting the living room, dining room, and kitchen of the woman who has housed and fed us for virtually nothing the last three trips here. her son helped a lot. the place looks fantastic. since i have no medical skills to contribute to the clinics, it was nice to be able to do this. tomorrow, i head for comayagua, the onetime capital of honduras, where i spent a day last trip, and then on wednesday i am off to nicaragua! i plan on visiting estile, leon, and granada. we'll see what else strikes my fancy when i get there. i may go through el salvador on the way back. i have til the 2nd of february.
