Isla Ometepe

Isla Ometepe, In the middle of Lago Nicaragua, is dominated by two volcanoes. One of them, Volcan Concepcion, is still active. I spent three days there in Altagracias. I went in to Moyogalpa, where the dock is, to watch the inauguration on Jan 20. I also took a hike partway up the smaller, inactive Volcan Maderas to a lovely waterfall.
