there has been a lot of publicity in the last few days over the prosecution of a Utah man for polygamy. He has five wives and close to twenty children. what do you think about this? why should polygamy be illegal? why shouldn't a man or woman be allowed to live with, sleep with, and have children with more than one partner? isn't divorce just a crude workaround for the anti-polygamy laws? i'm not knocking monogamy by any means. i am monogamous through and through. anything else would be just to emotionally complicated. but why shouldn't those who are comfortable with polygamy be allowed to practice it?
