It's not really polished, but I think that kind of works. Also, I just saw Terry Gilliam's Tideland. Damn it's a good film. I rented the collector's edition with his commentary and a documentary about the making of the film. I understand why a cursory look at it would make Americans especially squeamish about showing it theatrically, but it is a shame that we are so shallow. I thought it was a beautiful and disturbing study of innocence. Jodelle Ferland (age 9) was brilliant.
