not a care in the world. i don't think i'll ever experience that again. i have in the past, probably in my early childhood, before i knew anything mattered beyond the moment, and again in my youth when i was able to focus on pleasure without the background noise of wars and lies and broken dreams and money and jobs and age and hate and fear and pain and lies and...

maybe if i develop alzheimers someday i will get to experience the joy of childhood in short bits over and over again.
