three decisive wins yesterday put obama only 25 delegates behind hillary in the pledged/super total. there are 75 superdelegates undecided and edwards has 26 pledged. a lot of attention is being paid to the superdelegate issue, but i don't think it will be one. with obama expected to solidly win all the primaries this month, and with his fundraising advantage, i think his momentum will carry the march primaries as well, putting him, if not over the top, in an unassailable position.

obama wins maine.

only 34 delegates, but significant in that clinton thought she had it in the bag. it's indicative of how close the race is that both candidates made last minute stops there to rally support.
