Got my DSL today, and reset the mail forwarding from my website to my new address, but it doesn't seem to be working yet, so if I don't respond to emails, it's because I'm not getting them. I still have my old account on my laptop, so i will try to keep up there.

thanks! hey, I have been told that DSL's are more succeptible to viruses and such, so I should get a firewall. Mine is not "always on", so it has a dynamically assigned ip address. Do i need a firewall, and is there one you recommend?

Even with a dynamic IP address I would install a personal firewall. I use Norton's, but have heard good things about Black Ice too. Even with medium security, you'll appear stealth on the net. Here's a site to check the safety of your system, www.grc.com and use their 'Shields Up!' service. Good luck and let me know if you need any more information....G
