what can i say? i like cool old trees. you can tell what they went through just to survive this long.
this guy flew right up to me and then sat on this branch watching me while i took his picture. if i had a spirit animal, i think this would be it.
every good hike culminates in a view. i began the hike on the other side of Geddis Canyon, on the left side of the picture. hiked along the rim, then down and back up and along the other rim to this point. you are looking towards sedona.
