what i believe

my earlier post was for those who wrap themselves in their faith. here is what i personally believe.

killing is justified when it is the true and sane wish of the one dying.

killing is justified if it is the only way to stop a deranged or evil person from killing others.

killing is justified in self defense if it is the only option.

killing is not justified as revenge or punishment.

killing of innocent people is not justified, no matter what the end.

i have a real problem with abortion. i wish it never happened, but there is an ambiguity involving the beginning of sentience, a woman's right to control her body, the definition of human life, and other issues that i have been unable to reconcile into a firm opinion.
