Bush's quote sounds like something I just read in Kerouac's "Visions of Cody," which I think took place in the Middle East, or the middle east side of Denver, or San Fran, or New Yawk (Ella sings "A Tiskit a Tasket) when I was out there jazzing it up with Looie or Blooie or Newty or Orrin, and the president was, uh, smokin cigars with that Mo, Mo, Mona, Moanica chick and we was grooving all night on CNN and ....

CUT!!

I think Shrub inherited his tongue-tiedness from Daddy Bush. I remember reading stories a decade ago about Dad Bush's convoluted statements that seemed to roll along with no apparent destination in mind.

Tom Tomorrow is great.

I also like

Zippy the Pinhead

for lighthearted diversion. Come to think about it, answers at presidential conferences often sound like Zippyisms, if Zippy could speak in paragraphs, that is.

Buzzzzing off to
Snoozeville
now.
