I'm working on three small circular paintings today. There is something about a circular canvas that really appeals to me. It feels much less rigid and confining. A circular painting doesn't end at its edge the way a square or rectangle does. It also has a different way of defining the content of the painting. I paint up to a curved edge in a different way from that I use with a straight one.

It's probably because it's a balanced shape. No rough corners.... edges... whatever.

What colours? vibrant? or soft & subdued?

I like one of the pics in particular on your website... it's various shades of mauves I think (pinks & purples if I remember correctly). It makes me think of warmth & depth for some reason.
