spiderman was OK. i wonder if it was better before they remade it after 9-11. parts of it were good, way too much of it was sappy, badly written stuff between peter and maryannejane, and a lot of the action was paced to fast. several obvious plot holes didn't help. i don't mind suspending disbelief, but when you explain his ability to climb walls by showing a closeup of his fingers growing barbed spider hair thingies, and then have him spend the rest of the movie wearing gloves and shoes...
