thank you. the only thing i am worried about is the snow at the top. we'll be wearing crampons, but if it is fresh snow, there are a couple of spots where it may be hard to follow the trail.

I hiked a total of maybe two measly miles with one of those on my back once. I also had additional small bags in each hand. We were hiking in to our campsite in the Porcupine Mountains. It had been raining for several days and the trail was full of slick mud and murky puddles. I fell in one of the mud puddles and couldn't get up very easily, totally soaking my jeans....only to discover when we made it to the campsite that I had FORGOTTEN to pack a spare pair of jeans. DOH!

Seeing that pack brought back that lovely memory...thanks Dave ;)
