i agree with the radical left on a lot of issues, but i think they are very naive in their support of presidential candidates such as nader. it simply is not possible to effect radical change through the executive branch. vote for the greens or whoever at a local or even state level, then for congress and senate, and maybe some day for president. now, however, we need to simply turn the rudder of state a couple of notches to avoid hitting an iceberg. later on we can worry about heading the ship for warmer waters. first avert disaster, then argue about a new course. if we fight over control of the ship now, we will be sinking fast in 2005.
