Hello ... I just wandered in after seeing one of your great posts in rural_ruin, and decided I needed to say hi to someone whose childhood actually includes the towns of Ekalaka and Plentywood, Montana! (I live in Bozeman, but get out to eastern Montana a fair bit in the course of my work.)

I'll add you to my friends list, if you don't mind. Take care ...

hi! it's always nice to meet someone who actually knows ekalaka and plentywood. :) hope you don't mind the occasional and usually liberal political rant, because that's one of the prices of adding me ;)

Heh heh ... I've got no problems with liberal political rants at all -- in my case, you're just preaching to the choir. :)

BTW, a few months ago I posted a few B&W shots in rural_ruin of abandoned buildings near Plentywood -- I'll have to see if I can dig those up one of these days ...

How's this for a delayed response? :)

Anyhow, here are the Plentywood-area pictures I posted in rural_ruin last summer:

Comertown railway car

Dooley church

Outlook depot

I have a stack of others that I'll have to dig up and scan one of these days ...
