well i still have the tv, but i got rid of cable and i'm still going to get rid of the box itself. it's nice that there isn't something to watch 24-7 any more, but i really want to try the no tv thing, and i'm already anticipating the overstuffed reading chair that's going to take its place (<- it's proper use of the apostrophe, for those who never remember).

re: the apostrophe thing. i always had the same problem with this one until i trained myself to always read "it's" as "it is". now if i (or you) do it wrong it jumps out at me.
