arrived in hue to flooded streets and heavy rain. shin deep water made it quite the adventure getting to our hotel. the rain did let up long enough for me to take a moto tour of the city, which was fun, but not particularly breathtaking. now it's pouring again. if you ever come here, absolutely go to Cafe on Thu Wheels. Thu, the woman who runs it is marvelous. she is the first person to make me feel completely, genuinely welcome here. tomorrow we head to da trangh (sp) and dalat. see you soon :)
