on wednesday, february 28th, 2001, there was a 6.8 earthquake outside of seattle, washington. unbeknownst to most, there were a series of aftershocks felt as far north aa anchorage and cooper's landing alaska, causing things to fall from the wall, two people to have up close and personal encounters with snowbanks, and causing those same people to fall completely in love. seismologists, after analyzing the data from the quake and aftershocks, warn of a similar series of quakes in the phoenix, arizona area later this year, possibly sometime in may. they say the quakes will likely be of longer duration and involve sand dunes rather than snowbanks.
